Round 4 of the\u00a0Porsche Sprint Challenge GB\u00a0took us north to\u00a0Knockhill, a short, bumpy, and highly technical circuit in the heart of Scotland. It was Jacob’s first time racing here, so there was plenty to learn \u2013 but by the end of the weekend, we\u2019d shown just how strong our pace really is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Testing earlier in the week went perfectly, giving us the confidence and setup we needed heading into the race weekend. By the time Friday\u2019s free practice wrapped up, we were topping the timesheets and feeling ready for qualifying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, qualifying threw us a curveball. An oil warning light forced me back into the pits early in the session, costing valuable track time and leaving just one chance to set a quick lap. Under pressure, Jacob delivered \u2013 grabbing\u00a0pole position\u00a0for Race 1 and securing second on the grid for Race 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Race 1 on Saturday afternoon was a dream start: a perfect launch, lights-to-flag victory, and the fastest lap of the race. Race 2 started well too \u2013 Jacob made a decisive move for the lead early on and pulled away to take the chequered flag. Sadly, a post-race decision by the stewards dropped us back to second.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Race 3 saw another strong fight, bringing the car home in P2 to round off what was undoubtedly a\u00a0breakthrough weekend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leaving Scotland, we\u2019ve proven that we have the pace, race craft, and confidence to fight at the front \u2013 and we\u2019ll carry that momentum into\u00a0Silverstone\u00a0for the next round. As a result of this weekends success, Jacob moved from fourth place to second place in the championship. We’ll keep pushing in the final two rounds to see what we can continue to achieve. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
